@Daniel: Well if you would consider two ducks (only European ones, not American ones) carrying a piece of wood in between them on which they could attach the Moai, it would maybe float…

Ô si nous l’avons entendu leur chant. Et les polynésiens avec leurs chants, sourires, gentilesse, acceuille et leur accent en français aussi fleuri que leurs parures, nous ont beaucoup envoutés.
Mais c’est peut-être l’isolement (et nous avons découvert la réalité de ce mot là-bas) de certaines des plus petites îles (comme Fakarava) qui nous a ramené à la réalité de la vie de ces gens. Une vie incroyable !
Donc tel Ulysse, nous sommes allés écouter le chant de la Polynésie, mais nous nous étions attachés au mat du bateau.

N.B. : le perroquet cru au jus de citron était vraiment un pur délice, digne d’un met du paradis

Hallo JC en Vera,

dat vind ik ook altijd boeiend, je bezig houden op welke manier het kunstwerk tot stand is gekomen…blijft gissen maar leuk om te brainstormen. Blij te lezen dat jullie NZ als indrukwekkend hebben ervaren, als ik terug kijk op mijn verblijf /vakantie aldaar 26 jaar geleden , heb ik dat gevoel nog steeds..jullie zien er nog steeds stralend uit en dat is niet alleen aan de buitenkant…wat een ervaringen hebben jullie opgedaan, onvergetelijk!!

The north Island is also worth to visit. Did you go to Cape Reinga, or by bus travelling gthe ninety miles beach? Or the Coromandel, bay of Islands, Rotarua?
